MEGA 2010 UPDATE

The team has been hard at work behind the scenes sorting out the logistics of holding such a large event. Once this years event in Weston Super Mare is over we shall get into the full swing of things so you can expect more frequent updates after that.

Venue/Dates
As most of you are probably aware, the Mega event next year is to be held at the Dewars Conference Centre, Perth . Saturday 31st July 2010. (see the Location page for more details).

Satellite Events
A number of side events have been discussed and these include a Camping Event and a CITO. Details of these and other Satellite events will be posted here nearer the time.

Coins
As part of our fundraising for Mega Scotland we are producing a series of geocoins and the first coin (Robert Burns 250th Anniversary) has been selling well, with the limited edition coin now being completely sold out. Our second coin - Flower of Scotland – is well on to its way into production and this will be available shortly.

The children's coin competition had some superb designs submitted by our young cachers and the winners will be announced by the end of June.

All the coins are available from this website and in addition we will be taking a number of them down to this years Mega event to sell at our trade stand as well.

Weston Super Mare
We will be taking a trade stand at this years event to promote Mega Scotland 2010 and this will give everyone attending WSM an opportunity to pick up some interesting information of what Perthshire and the surrounding area can offer and to let you ask any questions to members of next years organising team throughout the day. There will also be some interesting items at the stand courtesy of our sponsors so please do drop by and say hello.

Also If you have a TB that you want us to take back up North with us then speak to anyone at the stand and we will do our best to help you.
